The Rickshaw Run

A three-wheeled, two thousand mile adventure across India and Nepal.

Map 4 rickshaw run.png

A few weeks after returning from the Mini's climbing trip to Spain, it was time to hit the road again.  Cue a flight to Kolcata, India, where an 8hp tuk-tuk was waiting for us, courtesy of the Adventurists, the company who also organise the Mongol Rally.  This three-wheeled beastie was to be our home for two weeks, as we made our way north to Darjeeling, then across Nepal and up to Manali, nestled in the foothills of the Himalaya.

Our trip across the subcontinent is covered in detail in The Road from the East, so there's no need to re-tell the story here.  However, feel free to scroll down to see some of the photos from this unusual adventure.
