Back From the Arctic

How's your March been so far? Here at Pub2Pub, it's been pretty epic. Now, we'd normally be the first to agree that the word 'epic' gets thrown around a little too freely these days, but really, there's no other way to describe the Snowstorm Rally. It really was that good.

Over a two week period a group of 18 absolute legends took on the challenge of driving to the Arctic and back. In winter. And they didn't just take on the challenge, they really rose to the occasion. Classic Volvos were brought and prepped. Daily drivers were fitted with spotlights and roof racks. Transaxle Porsches were clad with winter tyres. And everything from a low-slung Jaguar XJ6 to the Range Rover we took to Chile set off on the long drive north.

So, was it worth it? Absolutely. We're talking bucket-list stuff here. Ice roads were driven. The northern lights were gazed upon. Frozen wildernesses were crossed. The Atlantic Highway was driven. And at the halfway point of the trip, as the temperature dropped to minus 17, the Arctic Circle was crossed, and memories which will last a lifetime were made.

We'll be putting out a full write-up of the trip soon, but in the meantime, here are a few photos which should give you an idea of how things went. And if you're feeling inspired, put the first two weeks of March '26 in your diary, as we're definitely planning on running this one again...
